The thing to do when it is winter outside and the need for some warmth is present, is to take a trip down memory lane to warmer places and times. I took this image in Cuba in 2007. This open doorway was spotted right at the base of the mountain leading up to the resort I was staying in, right on the edge of the little town where the ocean meets the mountain. I loved the music there! I have visited Cuba 5 times and the people are wonderful! What really struck a chord with me..(pardon the pun) every time I visit was the overwhelming desire for so so many Cuban people to come to Canada.
